So I'm on Google Street View, and what do I see? My house of course but if I wanted to pretty much any one's on the world. Is this really cool or really dangerous? I'd say a little bit of both, I mean it depends who you are really, either an innocent curious computer user, or some crazy stalker.
As this was made by Google, I'm sure they had a lot of problems surrounding it. like the people who were caught on the footage and can be seen by the world. If they're complaining, I think they have every right to because it's their privacy. But then I think why they are being such babies. So what if you're shown, this new system solves way more problems than it creates. People can now have the benefits of a GPS without spending all the money, which is something everyone would like to have these days even with he economical crisis. The only problem would be the stalking that some people will be doing using this. But Google has outsmarted the wackos of society by blurring faces and licence plates. Anything really useful is being hidden so what's the point of being against such a great invention? And if you still think that you can see your face too clearly, then I suggest you contact Google. Wouldn't want any unexpected visitors now would we?

I completely agree with you, there are both positives and negatives about this software. Of course its a lot of fun and you can visit any place (well whatever is available on Google Street View) with the click of a button. Just the other day I was seeing Mexico and Ireland through Google Street View. On the other hand, you can be easily identified through the software. Google has blurred out the faces of people, but you can still identify the people by their clothes and personal items. Depending on your point of view, Google Street View has both positives and negatives
